FACILITIES & APPAREL

The school facilities include 2 million dollars worth of NFL quality field turf, a pool, and a recently renovated Findlay locker room.  The recently refinished court has the new NCAA 3-point line.

Our weight room was renovated in September of 2006. The weight room has all new equipment brought in to aid in the development of our athletes. The equipment is from Bigger-Faster-Stronger’s line of equipment.

We are an elite Nike sponsored school with shoes, sandals, running shoes, socks, warm ups, hoodies, practice gear, loose dry fits, tight dry fits, socks, pads, and compression shorts. We have Nike jerseys in Navy, Scarlett, and White.

TRAINING

This is the backbone of the program.  The philosophy is to set up our student-athletes to be college ready from day one.  Our experienced staff has years of experience working at the elite college level providing 9 months of college level strength & conditioning, individual instruction, and intense practices. Strength and conditioning is built into the school day.

The program has developed the freshmen of the year in the Big 12, Big 10, Big West and 3 of the NBA’s last 12 one-and-done 1st round picks!  The organization, structure, and demand for accountability get the best out of the athletes.
We operate beyond the college level with training throughout the school year that far exceeds what colleges can do because of their NCAA time restrictions.  The gym is highly accessible within walking distance of the dorm.

STYLE OF PLAY

We play an up-tempo game that gets high level athletes an opportunity to display their talents and provides excitement to the community.  We are a defensive oriented philosophy but thrive on our regimented early morning conditioning in the preseason and really run offensively. Everyday of practice all of our players do similar skill work including ball handling, shooting, etc.  We expect all of our players to be able to dribble, shoot, pass, etc. so positions are not like the traditional positions.  Our offense is 4 out 1 inside attacking with good floor spacing.  All of our perimeter positions are very similar and we entrust all of our players to be able to bring the ball up the court.

Over the 132 games in 4 seasons the Pilots average 85 points per game.   Findlay has won 106 out of 132 games by double digits and are 47-0 at home in that time.
